Lisa L. Watson an Atlanta native, Lisa received her undergraduate degree from Clark Atlanta University and went on to pursue graduate studies at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in Scenic Design. During her stint in NY she worked many companies including The Negro Ensemble Company, New Federal Theatre, Crossroads, Diane McIntrye, and The Billie Holiday. Her job titles ranged from production manager to stage manager to scenic designer to carpenter. Returning to Atlanta, she joined Jomandi Productions as Production Manager, a position she held for 10 years. She has taught Stage Craft and Theatre Arts Management at Clark Atlanta University. In 2003, after taking a small sabbatical in a bookstore, Lisa began her tenure as Production Manager at True Colors.
