"Blues is the Roots" Musicologist Convo

"The Blues is the Roots" musicologist conversation. A panel of blues musicians, historians, and educators will discuss the history of the blues and Paramount Records and how the blues has influenced the sound of American music today.  The panel will include blues historian and Mississippi Blues Trail curator Scott Baretta; Dr. David Evans, Blues Musician and Director of the Ph.D. program in Ethnomusicology at the University of Memphis; and Lance Ledbetter, Founder record label Dust-to-Digital, a specialty label with a focus in preservation.
