In the award winning Fried Chicken and Latkes , Rain Pryor shares her experience growing up the daughter of famed comic Richard Pryor and Shelley R. Bonis, a Jewish go-go dancer. She finds hilarious ways of discussing racial tensions in Beverly Hills during the 1960s and 70s, explaining how she learned to embrace both her African American roots, her Jewish ancestry, and her father’s unique style of parenting.
